Veronica Anne Hewlett (21 Apr 1930 - 11 Oct 2019)

After many years of ill health Veronica Anne Hewlett passed away peacefully in her bed at home in Stowmarket, Suffolk on Friday 11 October 2019 aged 89 years. A loved and missed mother to Dr Katherine Hewlett who was constantly beside her throughout her final days. Veronica Anne Hewlett was a teacher at Stowmarket High School during the 70's and 80's and a founder member of the Stowmarket Ramblers Association. Throughout her life she had many interests which included History of Art, drawing, poetry and photography. Her photography was more recently exhibited at the John Peel Centre in 2012 and her poetry was often published during the 1990's. The funeral service will take place at St Andrew's Church Great Finborough, near Stowmarket on Thursday 31st October 2019 at 11.30am followed by a burial in the churchyard.
