In loving memory of Kenneth Hatton who sadly passed away on 12th October 2019
Well what can I say about this man.
Born on the 22nd of july 1946.
Born to Tom and Eddie 1st child of 3. Mick,Angie and Nigel. Grew up and schooled in south Normanton.
Bit of a "bogger" from what I hear....
Not one that would ever hurt no one, mischievous more like.
Growing up with many friends around the area both Male and female. 😉
Very smartly dressed from the pictures we have found probably do to his out going nature.
After all that he met my mum Madge.
After a short courting they soon married.
Then I came along.
They loved to mix with friends and most of all family.
After I met Deb he suddenly became a grandad which he loved.
When India came along mam made him work twice as hard to keep the princess in goodies.
He loved his holidays with us and family which always seemed a big event with lots of us there.
My biggest memory of dad was he always seemed to be at work. "A proper provider"...
Starting work with the co-op moving on to demolition at Bushy's for many years. Until joining the pit, loving the comardery of the miners he worked with at a number of mines. Then onto Pilkingtons. Then onto his final career at MLP
railway until his retirement.
After my mum passed away 3 years ago life wasnt the same . Having to cope for the first time on his own.
He was found to have a illness earlier this year with a late diagnosis of cancer with a aggressive end .
Hope you all have a fond memory of dad "Mick, fluke,Bond" and I know there will be a grin and a tear when you think of him.
