In loving memory of Catherine Bernadette WATSON who tragically passed away, far too soon on 1st October 2019.

Catherine was a larger than life character who battled all her life. From her early life South Africa to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and UK she made friends everywhere and was respected as a nurse. Nursing was her life and she thrived on responsibility. Theatre scrub, prison hospitals, endoscopy units she was admired and respected wherever she worked. She was the best nurse there was, I should know she told me often enough!

She brought into the world three amazing and beautiful children, Derrick, Carmyn and Candice and loved them all unconditionally. Catherine finally found her soulmate in Jeff and together they shared ten wonderful years. They met on 16 Oct 2009 and it was an instant attraction and she finally married in August 2013. She was then also an amazing step-mother to Ben and Jake. To say she will be missed is scratching the surface.

Catherine was one of life's "givers" and could not help but give to charity. Many the time she would disappear into a bakery or MacDonalds to buy a meal for a homeless person. The first year in UK she "Braved The Shave" for cancer charity and then made the two of us complete the "Colour Run" also for charity. She made me a better person as she did with many people.

She has affected the lives of so many family and friends in such a positive way but she has fought her last battle and has now found peace.

RIP my darling wife, you are irreplaceable.

I met Catherine through work. Catherine & I shared the same sense of humour and when we laughed our belly’s hurt and at times we couldn’t share what we were laughing about 🤣 Catherine was fantastic to work with, efficient and hard working and immaculate makeup.
When I last saw her we hugged in the corridor... so glad that we did 💗 Rest in peace darl xxxx
