In loving memory of the late Christopher Nicholas (Asher) Bonnick who sadly passed away on 23rd March 2015
    
THE funeral service for Trowbridge-born grandfather Christopher Bonnick will take place in Nottingham this Friday.
The 55-year-old property developer, who was raised in the Studley Green area of the town, was pulled by firefighters from a burning house in Derby Grove on March 22.

He was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham but later died of his injuries, with his family at his bedside.
A 56-year-old man was charged with the murder of Mr Bonnick and has been remanded in custody until June 30.
Mr Bonnick was born and raised in Trowbridge by his mother alongside his eight siblings, with many now living in the Newtown area.
He was a former pupil at Nelson Haden School, now Clarendon Academy, and was a father of four, with three daughters and a son. He also had four grandchildren. Moving to several cities in his life to settle in Nottingham where he made his life, having 3 children. He took on various opportunities to expand his knowledge in different field's of work, from bus driver to long lorry driver, driving instructor and then finally got into property letting and developing, as his children grew older he went travelling and fell in love with Africa and planned on moving there in the years to come when his life was sadly taken by one of his tenant's.
In a tribute paid to him, one of his daughters said: “He had a great community spirit and he liked helping everyone and anyone.
“He would give the shirt off his back and was very kind.
“He was well known because of his trademark dreadlocks and hazel eyes and he would say hello to everyone.”
His funeral will take place at Bramcote Crematorium, Coventry Lane, in Nottingham this Friday at 2.45pm
