Today we said our final goodbyes to the the husband, the dad, the brother, the grandad, the great grandad, the RAF pilot, the policeman, the vegetable grower, the organ player, the pub owner, the theatre actor, the artist, the choir singer, the photographer, the wine maker, the dog lover, the soup maker, the bassets allsorts distributor, the horse whisperer... to my grandad.

After suffering with the evil condition that is dementia for the last few years, he finally gets to rest with the angels.

In what’s been a drizzly, miserable few weeks the sun came out and I know you where looking down on us ☀️

“Love your life, take pictures of everything. Tell people you love them, talk to random strangers. Do things your scared to do, take your life and make it the best story in the world’’

Forever in our hearts

Love you always Grandad xxxx
