Nicky was always fun, completely selfless and loved nothing more than spending time with friends and family.

Nicky often spoke about creating memories for Annabel our daughter. We would be really grateful if you could upload any stories and photos here. Our plan is to create a book that will give Bel something to cherish over the years showing what a caring, fun and popular person her mummy was.

I went to the University of Greenwich, leaving Wolves as a teenager to come to Southeast London. Nikki was a mature student and well versed in the area of mental health. It was so clear from the off, that she was passionate and determined to make a change in the area of mental health and ensure quality when it came to patient care. We had lectures together and we also were on the same placement. She had me in stitches at times with some of her stories and jokes. I’m utterly devastated to learn of her passing- she had been in my thoughts of late, and I wanted to see how she was getting on. She spoke to me about her Maltese heritage, which I loved to hear about.
I send my heartfelt wishes out to her friends and family.

Love

Dearest Nicky, It is a tragedy that you are no longer with us. You will always be an inspiration to so many people and yet you weren't trying to be. You were just being you and living through an impossibly hard situation with strength and laughter. Love to you and love to your lovely family. xxx

So sad to hear of the death of Nicky. She had so much to offer the world. She was a great advocate for her profession and loved being a nurse. She was always cheerful and the first person to offer to do things. She often talked of her happy home life and how much she loved Matt and it was the thrill of her life to become pregnant. The world has lost a truly lovely person.

Our very dear friend Nicky, we will miss and remember you every day. We were so blessed to have you in our lives, if even for a short time, and I will cherish our friendship forever. Such a brave, funny, selfless, kind, caring, generous, thoughtful person who inspired and enriched many peoples lives. The world was a better place with you in it. Shine your light in heaven now beautiful and rest in eternal peace. Until we meet again - get a gin ready for me!! Love you forever xxxx
