Doreen Finlay (24 Jan 1930 - 19 Sep 2019)

I shall always remember Doreen as a happy, fun & loving person. Always interesting to talk to and ready to give a helping hand. Doreen &Bill were great friends with my parents, Denis & May, and I remember great stories about the Ford social club events. They helped us when we moved from Ilford to Hockley and I remember staying with them on the night of the move in 1969 when I was just 10 years old. Although the latter years have passed so fast and I have only seen Doreen occasionally I shall always remember that same warmth and affection - just as it was when I was 10 years old.
A lovely lady who will be greatly missed.
Love to all the family at this sad time, but just hang on to those memories. I certainly shall.. God bless..love Phil & Lynda

What a wonderful nan and greatnan. She was loved by many and will be missed by us all. She struggled with her illness but battled to the end. Forever in our hearts ❤️
