Sheila was such a lovely lady and one of the happiest people I ever knew.we treasure every memory of her and what a wonderful grandma she has been to dan and Ben-the very best.we have all been very lucky to share our lives with her. I hope yo u will be able to recall your most treasured times(so many of them!) and that they will bring you comfort.

Sheila Kirk. Passed away in Pinxton Manor Nursing Home on Sat 22nd June 2013. Sheila was a life long member of St Martins Church Alfreton. Sheila was born and grew up in Pye Bridge where she lived with her parents, John and Elsie Terry and her close family of sisters. She went to school in Somercoates and left school at 14 to begin work at an early age. Sheila met Frank as a young teenager and they were married in the Watchorn Church 1943 and recently enjoyed celebrating their Diamond Wedding Anniversary.
Sheila worked as a seamstress with Viyella and then Remploy and enjoyed many interests, including being a member of the Women's Institute, Ladies Probus, Partially Sighted Club and Bowling club. She loved music and was a keen dancer and supporter of Derby County, the Rams!
Sheila is survived by Frank, her life-long partner, her two children, Julie and Anthony, as well as as four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Sheila was much loved and will be fondly remembered.
