Marie Anne Coyne sadly passed away on Monday 5th August 2019.

She was an outgoing, fun and loving person with a huge heart. A beautiful daughter to John and Lorraine Coyne, caring sister to Emma Coyne and Katie Killeavy, devoted aunty to Eden Killeavy and loving girlfriend to Jeremy Spear.

From a young age Marie had an incredible imagination, which led her into the career path of becoming a successful Web Developer. Marie was a very clever and talented individual who graduated from University with an Internet Programming degree. However, she was mainly self-taught with her software code and at the young age of 16 astonishingly started to produce her own websites. She was always keen to learn new skills and especially had an active interest in the social media outlet. When Facebook came to London in 2010 for their Annual Hackathon, she attended the coding marathon, and this is where she got to meet her idol Mark Zuckerberg. She was in her element and she raved about meeting him every year since. Marie went on to work for several large organisations such as Myspace, Experian and Motorpoint Arena and achieved many awards for her spectacular work. Marie was very modest about her achievements, but a huge highlight in her career was when her team won a BT Music Digital Award for the work that they had done for the Kaiser Chiefs.

Music was a huge passion of Marie’s, and in her teens, she was mainly an Indie kid at heart, who loved the English rock bands of the 90’s. In particular; Blur, Pulp, Supergrass, Suede and The Verve but it was Oasis that became the band of all bands for Marie. She had huge posters that went from the ceiling to the floor plastered all over her bedroom wall alongside amazing drawings she would draw herself of Liam and Noel. Another incredible talent she possessed. During the 00’s Marie started to enjoy music from the American Rock bands Green Day and My Chemical Romance, who in her later years of life became her number 1 band. Marie would travel around the country to see her favourite artists live at gigs and festivals and without a second thought, go as far as across the other side of the world to see them. Meeting Gerard Way at a comic book signing in Los Angeles was the ultimate experience for Marie. She was a major fan and had a deep connection to the lyrics he wrote with My Chemical Romance and when the opportunity to meet him again presented at Comicon in Leeds, she was off on her travels again to get her Umbrella Academy comic book signed.

Marie loved an adventure and to explore the world to meet new people with common interests, but she didn't need to go far to find her soulmate Jezz. Marie knew he was the one for her as soon as they met, and they soon fell in love.

Marie achieved so much in her life and her memory will carry on in all our hearts for eternity.

Marie was a very colourful individual, so please do not feel you need to dress in traditional black attire, unless you wish to do so. The colour theme of Marie's favourite band is Black, White and Red, so it would be nice to see these colours on the day. We kindly ask for family only flowers and within the colour theme if possible.

Celebrations for Marie’s life will take place after the burial at The Cricketers Pub, Beeston, Nottingham, NG9 2NR

I will hold on to the memories that we shared❤️ including nights out at the Cookie club, sending each other notes during class at Trinity and your school books which had "I love Noel" scribbled all over them" also the fact that I would always annoy you by asking you to teach me how to draw Bart Simpson😂 I finally got there! I'll also never forget your birthday as like I used to sing to you "I'm two days older than you, ner ner ner ner ner"
You kept me going at school and for that I will be forever grateful, im just so sad we never got to have that last drink.
Rest in perfect paradise beautiful, you will be missed by so many😘❤️
Love and strength to all of the family at this difficult time x

Marie what can I say... you were a beautiful person outside and in.. I dont think you had a bad bone in you. Also i knew you were talented however i never truly knew how gifted you where...yes you were very modest about your achievements!!

I can just hear your laugh and your voice now as I remember you. You were always my fresh air partner 🤭🤭 You always made me smile and we shared some very special memories together.

I loved how every time I saw you, you had a different colour hair.. pink blue purple green turquoise.. oh and some normal colours too but it always suited you. I dont know how you got away with it but you did.. think pink was my favourite ❤

You will be missed terribly and I'm so sad for your family and partner as you where on such a good chapter of your life. But I truly believe that you are not gone you are just in a different place.

I'm so sorry I cant be at the funeral however I am there in spirit and will light a candle for you and dedicate my yoga practice to you... really wish you took me up on the offer to do yoga with you it would have been fun

Sending all my love always xxxx
