Percy Prest (27 Jul 1940 - 28 Aug 2019)

In loving memory of Percy Prest who sadly passed away on 28th August 2019. Percy was born in Eldon, County Durham to Annie and Percy Prest who had nine children, June, Maureen, Chris, Percy, Edith, Anne, Olive, Elizabeth and Lorraine. He married Jean in 1962 and they began married life in Bilsthorpe where he worked at the pit. Son Paul and daughter Dawn arrived in the next few years. Percy had many hobbies including bowls, golf, dominoes, darts and collectibles. Percy retired in 1992 and enjoyed travelling abroad with Jean in the years that followed, the Greek Islands being their favourite destination. Their seven Grandchildren Wayne, Jessica, Stefan, James, Jodie, Thomas and Dominic arrived in quick succession between 1987 and 1998 and they also have two great Granddaughters Libby and Matilda Jean.
