In loving memory of Michael Browning who sadly passed away on 14th August 2019.
Mick moved up to Sutton In Ashfield from
London In 1986 but still made regular visits back to London to watch his beloved Chelsea Football team who he had supported since being a young boy. Mick’s love of sports didn’t stop there - he played in the pool team, attended snooker events and when he couldn’t get to London to watch Chelsea he went to watch the Stags at Mansfield or had a trip down to Cambridge to watch their team.
Mick also loved his dogs and made regular monthly donations to the Dog Trust and when he was able to, visited the Dogs Trust in Loughborough where he spent quite some time just keeping those dogs waiting for new homes company giving them cuddles and walks - dogs were an important part of his life.
Another love of Mick’s was Queen and the fabulous Freddie Mercury and he belonged to the Queen Fan Club. I don’t think their is a Queen CD, Video or book that Mick didn’t own!
Mick’s son Paul was and always will be the apple of his eye and he was very proud of the young man that he had become and didn’t hesitate in telling everyone so and like his Dad he has a love of sports too.
Mick battled the dreaded Cancer bravely for 5 years and sadly passed on 14th August 2019 and will be missed by both family and friends but is now pain free and in piece and re-united with his mum and his beloved dogs Petra, Sasha and Tilley.
