Kathleen Mary Hammond (19 Mar 1929 - 9 Aug 2019)

In loving memory of Kathleen Mary Hammond who sadly passed away on 9th August 2019. Kathleen, as many of you know, was a kind, positive and deeply Christian person. She had many friends and a large family, most of whom she and John kept in touch with regularly over many years. As well as the family and church she led a full life with many interests; her garden, country walks, singing in a choir and she was a talented amateur artist. After John died she began attending the local U3A, including the science group, which she greatly enjoyed, although being in the afternoon, she admitted it was sometimes difficult for her to stay awake throughout the whole talk. She would be pleased donations are going to the Methodist Church which meant so much to her, and to the Hospice, whose Hospice at Home service helped her greatly in recent months, often providing visits several times during the night.
