Glenys Fairbrother 'Glen' (6 Nov 1941 - 4 Aug 2019)

In loving memory of Glenys Fairbrother 'Glen' who sadly passed away on 4th August 2019. My mum well what can I say about my mum glen known to most x she was the kindest loving mum ever had time for anyone ,would help anyone , loved bowling for over 40 years it was her life x bingo and socialising at the catholic club , she came from a large family who adored her she was a young terror back in the day , full off fun dressing up on Easter bonnets Xmas parties and she knew how to cater for any family function x made cheese straws trifles and the famous chopped salad sandwiches , oh and toasties , she ended up with dementia which stripped my mum right back to the bones , she never moaned once never gave up and always said one day at a time , she will be missed more than she will ever know x so many people say wished she was my mum x mum you never suffered so that I’m grateful for and for Lorraine for staying and holding your hand till u slipped away x guess what there’s half a bitter and a bag off sweets waiting with dad x we will do u proud x joe will shout oi nana I’m
