In loving memory of David Royston Leake who sadly passed away on 29th July 2019.

David was a loving and loyal husband to Irene and a wonderful father to Julie, Jane and Joanne. Also a wonderful Grandfather to James, Jessie, Jack, Katie, William and Maxwell. A fabulous Great Grandfather to Freddie, George, Teddy and Theo.

David enjoyed spending time with his wife Irene and his three daughters, Julie, Jane and Joanne. David was an avid reader, and was fond of politics, which gave for interesting conversation and debate! His love of gardening came from his Mum Kathleen, who taught David how to grow plants from the smallest of cuttings.

Throughout David’s life his main passion was his family whom he was devoted too and found great pleasure in spending his time alongside. Summer holidays, with family and holidaying with his wife Irene, picnics, day trips and family gatherings were David’s favourite times.

David will be sadly missed by all who knew him, he had the ability to light up any room with his joyful presence and was a true gentleman.

Rest in peace.

From the minute we met Dave he was nothing but lovely. Our neighbour and friend for many years and lots was spoken about over the fence whilst he was in his garden. Dave and Irene both were so lovely to us and when Courtney came along they spoilt her rotten buying gifts and sweets and generally just having time for her and showing an interest. We have alot to thank them for. He had lots of wise words and advise and he will be missed. He meant alot to us and we know his family will have a big void without him. Such a lovely family though and so i know they will be there for one another. xxxxx
