In loving memory of Michael 'Mike' Arbon who sadly passed away on 10th July 2019

Christine and Barry HAGGER wrote

We have only this evening discovered that Mike passed away in July 2019. We knew Mike very well during our time together at Stowmarket Middle School. He was an inspirational and motivational headteacher, always passionate about education and his determination to provide the best possible opportunity to every student. He always looked for the good in people and his enthusiasm was infectious. He cared deeply for the church and the wider community, and was ever mindful of the needs of those less fortunate than himself. He was kindly, understanding and sympathetic, always willing to go far beyond any contractual requirement, and of the highest integrity. It was a privilege and honour to have worked with him and to have been his friend. He will now be peacefully at rest with the Lord whom he served so faithfully and humbly.

A great human being who always went that extra mile in support of others.
His boundless energy would leave most, many years his junior, exhausted whilst he always strove to be ahead of the game.
He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

In memory of a really lovely man. It was a pleasure to have worked with him and to have enjoyed many fun times together over the years. I think I will always think of Mike when I see the church tower. He worked tirelessly for charity & was an amazing Head Teacher. A light has gone out of this world. Rest Peacefully, dear friend.
