In loving memory of Derek James Batley who sadly passed away on 20th June 2019.

My Dad, the strongest and bravest man I know. Suffered so much for three and a half years after an operation went wrong in the after care stage.

At peace now with no more suffering....

Flowers may be sent c/o The Co-operative Funeralcare, 184 Ansty Road, Coventry, CV2 3EX

They say it's a beautiful journey
From the old world to the new
Someday we'll make that journey
Which will lead us straight to you
And when we reach that garden
In which there is no pain
We'll put our arms around you
And never part again xxx

I see the moon, the moon sees me

Oh, let the light that shines on me

There’s so many things that will always remind me of you and of nan.

Rest in Peace Grandad. I take joy in the memories I have with you, and thinking of those happy memories makes dealing with your passing slightly easier. They are memories I will hold dearly for the rest of my life. Rest tight and say hello to Nan for me. All my love forever xxx
