In loving memory of Dave Moss who sadly passed away on 26th June 2019 aged 80.
Much loved husband of Pat, father to Joanne & Andrew, brother of Alan & Colin, father-in-law to Sue and Joanne's partner Mark and granddad to Hollie, Charlie & Jack.
Dave was taken from us suddenly and words can't describe how we are all feeling at this moment, Dave was loved by us all.
Dave was a proud family man - thoughtful and generous, hardworking, tenacious, outgoing and always cheerful.
He achieved and did everything he wanted in his life and was successful at almost everything he 'turned his hand' to. The 'almost' is only down to the fact: 1) He failed the 11 plus exam in junior school and 2) He was 'old school' and missed most of the computer boom, so 'new technology' was of little interest and therefore a bit of a mystery to him.
Married to Pat near-on 60 years and with a very close family bond. They have lived in the same house (a new build at the time) all their married life. Over the years they extended several times and made it and the large garden into a fabulous family home.
Dave enjoyed a highly successful working career (M.D. of Engineering & Building companies). He played piano (& accordion in a trio from a very young age), then keyboards in later life and loved big band music. Dave was a fast runner and scored goals by the bucket-load for his local football team and played for Wiltshire, he was also a low handicap (7) golfer. Dave renovated his beloved Austin 7 , aided by his son Andrew around 30+ years ago and it still looks as immaculate now.
Dave passed away in hospital after suffering a brain-stem haemorrhage. at their villa in Lanzarote, near the end of their most recent of regular visits there.
