Florence Marie Potter (28 Aug 1939 - 17 Jun 2019)

Florence Marie Potter passed away peacefully on Monday 17th June 2019 surrounded by her loved ones. She was a wonderful Wife of 60 years to Garry, and she was also a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the kindest of souls who bought joy to those around her. She had the biggest heart and and even bigger personality. She will be missed by all who knew her and her family want to honour her memory by fulfilling her wish of holding a celebration of her life at The Thamesview Crematorium on Wednesday 17th July 2019 at midday. This awesome lady was always very open about the kind of service she wanted and her main wish was that BLACK IS BANNED! She didn’t wear black on a single day of her life. She wanted a colourful celebration, so if you are attending the service then we ask that you wear something colourful in her honour. We want a packed service full of love, just as all our lives were for knowing her. We are leaving it down to individual choice if you would like to send flowers, but donations to the British Heart Foundation will be welcomed.
