Spink, Clare (Clarice), of Cosby.
A native of Anstey, Clare Spink (née Johnson) proudly served her country with the WAAF in the UK and the Middle East during World War Two.
Clare died peacefully at home on Wednesday 12th June 2019, aged 98 years.
Beloved wife of the late Harry Spink, Mum to Margaret, John, Heather and Geoff, Grandma to Dionne, Germaine, Alleric, Imogene, John, Samuel, Sophie and Gabriella. Dearly loved friend of many and an active resident of Cosby, the place that she called home for sixty-seven years.
The funeral service will be held in Cosby Methodist Church, Park Road Cosby, LE9 1RN, on Friday 2nd August 2019 at 12 noon, followed by a short service of committal at the Foston Crematorium in Countesthorpe at 1pm.
Family flowers only please; donations in lieu of flowers to the RAF Benevolent Fund, who were so good to Clare during her later life.
