I was shocked and saddened to read of Sue's passing.
We worked together at Hotels4U and she was a wonderful colleague, mentor and boss. We shared the same dark humour (essential when dealing on a daily basis with customer complaints) and were frequently reduced to tears of laughter by some of the tales we had to deal with - and her growing collection of knob pictures sent in by customers who felt she should have them as proof that the hotel door wouldn't close (don't ask...).
It was clear that Sue's world revolved around her family and while everyone that worked with her will be feeling the loss of a good friend, my sympathies are extended to those who knew and loved her best of all as a wife, mother and, recently, grandmother (although I can imagine that's a title that she would publicly denounce but privately love!).
RIP Sue
