In loving memory of Kenneth Francis BUSH who sadly passed away on 7th June 2019.

Ken was born on 18th February 1941 in Hayes Middlesex and was the middle child of seven siblings. He attended Grange Park and Barnhill schools in Hayes.

Having left school, he had several jobs before joining the Royal Marines, initially based at Lympstone Commando. During his time there he met Eileen who lived in nearby Exeter and who he would marry in early 1964. He later served aboard HMS Bulwark and travelled to many countries. The family now including son Stephen moved to Plymouth where daughter Deborah was born.

Upon leaving the Royal Marines in 1968, the family returned to Exeter. Ken spent much of his life working for Hammetts dairies, later, Express Dairies.

He has two grandchildren, Lynsey and William of whom he was very proud.

In 2015, wife Eileen passed away leaving the family heartbroken, a heartbreak that Ken never recovered from. In 2017, Ken was diagnosed with cancer and following two operations was only to find it return with a terminal diagnosis. He bravely fought it to the end, passing at Exeter Hospicecare. His son and daughter were with him.

Dear Debbie, Stephen and family,

I am so sorry for your loss.

To loose someone you love is hard enough but to loose them to cancer is heartbreaking.
I will treasure memories especially of our childhood going to the beach, playing rounders or Christmas parties with Ken and Eileen.

Sadly missed, always remembered with love.

Thinking of you all

Hayley x
