David touched many people during his life. as a Scout leader a College Lecturer and in retirement his Bowls club with his wonderful smile and cheeky humour. he will not be forgotten

Sally and I only met David a couple of times (Nic's Anthony is our nephew) but the tributes today at the Bramcote service showed how much he was loved by so many people, and how loving a person he was.

I am totally and utterly devastated on hearing this sad sad news. I first met Dave as a student back in 78/79 he was my teacher and only 28 years of age. We soon became work colleagues and friends. Dave always gave me work when I needed it. I was always proud to be able to put his name down on my job applications. You could say Dave is the main reason I have made a living out of the trade we shared. He was always loyal and always helped fight your corner... God Bless you Dave rest in peace.
