In loving memory of Harold Henry Swann who sadly passed away on 11th May 2019 in the arms of his loving family - deeply missed by family, friends and customers old and new. Harold was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather - a life well lived and a life well loved.

I'm very sorry to inform you that Harold passed away peacefully at home on May 11th.
Following a private family funeral an online obituary has been set up for Harold which includes an area where you can pay your respects, or leave memories and condolences.
In lieu of flowers we invite anyone who wishes to donate to do so to two charities which were very close to Harold’s heart - The Royal British Legion of which he was an ardent supporter and The British Heart Foundation whose nurses played such a big part in supporting him during his last weeks.
We would like friends, colleagues and customers to join the family in raising a glass in celebration of Harold’s life on Wednesday 29 May at 2.30pm at Amores Restaurant, Station Road, Beeston.

Really saddened today to hear (belatedly) of the death of Mr Swann. ☹ Walking into the shop one experienced customer service of a level established in a bygone and prestigious era. I have arrived at numerous hotels across the world with my suitcase in one hand and one or two Swann's suit bags containing my suits/blazers in the other. A real loss to the area, will be sorely missed. RIP Harold.

Sad to hear, I knew Harold & Alan back in the late 60's early seventies a crowd of us used to play badminton at Bingham leisure centre. Harold & Alan then joined a Karate clubs I ran, Trent Valley Wado Kai. Always a kind gentleman. Happy times
