After a brave battle against illness in St. Benedict’s Hospice on April 29th aged 66 years, John. The loving son of Yolanda and the late Thomas. The proud dad of James. The much-loved brother of Peter. The treasured uncle of Mark, Paul and Phoebe. The beloved cousin of Joe and a dear friend to many. Please meet on Thursday May 16th for service in St Joseph’s R.C. Church, Gilesgate at 12.15pm. Committal to follow in Durham Crematorium. All are welcome afterwards to The Court Inn, Court Lane for refreshments. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if so desired, to St. Benedict’s Hospice. A donation box will be provided at the church.
