Peacefully at home surrounded by family on April 23rd aged 80 years, Alf (Alfie). The devoted husband of Carol. The adored dad of Allison, the late Colin and loving father-in-law of Darren. The cherished granda of Natalie and Paul, Kim and Martin, Nicola and Dan, Gareth and Sam, Callum and great-granda of Emily, Ethan, Tyler, Ella, Leon, Jacob and Clark. The dear brother of George and brother-in-law of Rosamund, Chris and Helen, Julie and Joseph. A loving uncle and dear friend to many. Please meet on Friday May 3rd for service in Independent Methodist Church, Easington Lane at 11.45am. Interment to follow in Hetton Cemetery. All are welcome afterwards to Hetton Social Club for refreshments. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if so desired, to Cancer Research. A donation box will be provided at the church.
