RIP John we will never forget your kindness shown in travelling from Cornwall to Market Harborough twice in one week to represent Jeans mum and dads fuberal. Also the holiday we shared with you and the kids on your boat in the summer sometime in the 1980’s. xxx

John taught me to dive in the early 1980s and I have always felt that it was the best (and most rigorous) start to my diving career. It was a lot of fun - from dodging bits of plummeting wreckage, to gargling water from my Fenzy, John made each of us self reliant and resilient. He nurtured our raw enthusiasm and gave us skills for the future. Thank you. With best wishes to John's family. X Emily

You always wanted to help vulnerable people and pass on your knowledge and experience. May this go a little way to supporting others who suffer with this debilitating disease.
