In loving memory of Mandy Ellen Richards who sadly passed away far too young on 2nd March 2019. Born to Raymond and Glenys Kerr on the 23rd February 1964. Mandy was beautiful loving and kind, with an amazing personality. She was very happily married to Paul Richards and had a son Peter whom she adored and 3 gorgeous grandchildren, who were her absolute world. For all those lucky enough to know my beautiful sister you will appreciate the tragedy that her sudden passing has caused. She has climbed the stairs to heaven to be with mum and Dad and mother in law Rita. The world has lost an angel and heaven has gained another. Mandy has left an enormous hole in everyone's heart, her memory will be cherished for ever. We love you more than words can say, sleep tight xxx

Grace Wathen donated Β£21 in memory of Mandy

I met Mandy when I moved from Wales to Southampton in 1980, she always cut my hair and after Joe retired she cut his as well. Although I was over 20 years older than Mandy we got on well from the beginning. Nothing was too much trouble for her. I just cannot believe that she is gone at such a young age. Thinking of you Paul, Peter and family. When we moved to Whitley Bay in 2010 we still kept in contact on Facebook. Paul and Mandy brought our car up here from Southampton when we moved as Joe had just had a stroke and not allowed to Drive. I just do not know when it will sink in that there will be no more Facebook messages. She had so much patience that she cut my Grandsons'hair for his first hair cut. He has Down's Syndrome and cutting his hair is no easy thing to do. Joe & I and our son Kristian who also knew Mandy send our Condolences to Paul and family and Peter & Family. R.I.P. Mandy, I know you missed your Dad and Mum but you will be with them again now. Hope to meet up again when out time comes.
