Donate in memory of
AshokPrincess Alice Hospice
In loving memory of Ashok Kumar Verma, who sadly passed away peacefully on 5th March 2019 at Kingston Hospital. He was a beloved husband to Neelam and father to Priti and Pallav.
Ashok grew up in Deo in Bihar (India) and studied in Calcutta. He was very brave to move to London with very little but a few possessions to study Materials Science. There he struck up many lifelong friendships. Ashok went on to work for various engineering firms including British Aerospace.
Studious by nature, he had a love for teaching and bringing out the best in people. Ashok was also a caring and focused father and grandfather. Those who knew him will recall his true passion was following the cricket whichever way he could!
Throughout his life he was always generous and charitable. In keeping with this if anyone who knew Ashok would like to send flowers or gifts we would ask them to please donate to the Princess Alice Hospice instead. All the wonderful staff there looked after him with so much empathy and encouragement towards the end of his life that we will be forever grateful to them.
We would love as many people as possible to post their memories of Ashok and especially some photos of his younger days.
