Mildred Upton (28 Jan 1936 - 24 Feb 2019)

When I was very young we used to cuddle on the sofa, I remember one time we were leaving to go back to Devon and I said ‘what am I going to do if I want a cuddle?’ And you told me to cuddle a pillow and imagine it was you. I still do that now Nanny. It comforts me and I’m sad to say half the time I don’t even think of it.

Thank you Nanny for the impact you had on my life, you leave behind a loving family who are devastated to say goodbye, but it’s not really a goodbye.
