In loving memory of "Terry" Terence Ronald Trolley who sadly passed away on 19th February 2019.
Terry was born in Creswell but at a young age moved to Langwith (The Woodlands) with his family where he remained until he married Valerie Bonser (from Bunner Avenue, Shirebrook) - they made a home together in Shirebrook (Valley Road), where he remained for the rest of his life.
Terry or "Trot" as he was known to his work mates and friends, worked at Langwith Colliery, Shirebrook Colliery - taking early redundancy shortly before Shirebrook closed. He then took a course in bricklaying and worked for Baggaley and Jenkins before moving to Cannings Builders where he remained until he took early retirement.
A renowned Goalkeeper for many local teams in the area (both Langwith, Shirebrook and Bolsover) where he made many good friends. Known for his stature and good nature, "would always stop for a quick chat". With a quick wit and always there to lend a hand both to family or friends.
Terry leaves a big hole in the family he was head of - leaving Valerie, Kevin (son), Lee (son) and Michelle (daughter), Grandchildren; Natalie, Nadine, Nathan, Jemma, Sam and Melissa.
IF ANYONE WISHES TO ATTEND THE FUNERAL PLEASE DO NOT WEAR BLACK - DADS WISHES. THANK YOU X.
