In loving memory of Trevor Butcher who sadly passed away on 22nd January 2019 aged 61 years and only 8 days short of his 62nd Birthday following a battle with cancer.
Trevor known as Trev to friends and "the bean" to family was born the second child to Denis and Jennifer, he had one older brother Steven and three younger sisters - Cheryl, Kathryn and Jillian. Trevor was born in Eagley Bank, Bolton and then moved with his family to Eccles, Whiston and Newton-Le-Willows. As a young man he joined the RAF and worked as a mechanic on planes and it was the RAF that brought him to Lincolnshire were he lived for the rest of his life. He was married three times, having divorced his first and second wife, the first marriage gave him two daughters Joanne and Samantha, and his second marriage gave him another daughter Rebecca and a stepdaughter Emma. His last marriage was to Ann and brought him great happiness. Trevor had many grandchildren and welcomed the addition of Ann's family to his own. Trevor was a kind man who would help anyone. He enjoyed music and making things with his own hands including baking cakes and making models, he was also competitive and enjoyed computer games and fishing as well as having a keen interest in films and books. His friend Phillip was a great help and carer in the last part of his life and Trev depended on him a lot and trusted him, their friendship making them as close as brothers. Trevor will be missed by both family and friends, we will miss his sense of humour and the love he gave those close to him. Trevor had a tremendous will to live but even that could not help against the constant pain his illness brought .
