In loving memory of Harvey Glenn Peden who sadly passed away on 14th January 2019 How can a parent say goodbye to their child?

It seems an impossible task, one that goes against every natural and maternal instinct. One made even more difficult when it means saying goodbye to you, our sweet boy.

Those of you who knew Harvey saw what a beautiful boy he was. But there was so much more that most people didn’t see. Things that us, as parents got to experience over time making his personality so much more incredible.

Harvey, you rocked our world from the moment you arrived. From the relaxed and laid back positions you used to sleep in when just days old, to the unforgettable swagger you developed when you learned to walk.
You had confidence and a presence about you that enabled you to even make being the ‘neat freak’ you were, cool!
You pulled off every outfit with flare (including the reindeer onesie- which I’m sorry for). Part of your charm were your gorgeous dimples, that were only overshadowed by that infectious smile. A smile that could not only light up a room but it also brightened our day, without fail. You stole our hearts with your dry sense of humour, that silly little run, your addictive cuddles and those beautiful, big, blue eyes!
You and your brother completed us, filling our hearts with so much love, laughter and constant astonishment that we could create two, such perfect little boys.
The time we have had with you is so special, and we will cherish every single precious moment, memory, photo and video clip. We love you sweet boy, with every fibre of our being and miss you more than words could possibly describe.
You are taking part of our hearts with you poppet, they are forever yours, and likewise we will keep you with us always.
The world will forever be missing a crucial part, and will be the poorer for not having you in it. We do not know why you were taken from us but we do know that we will never stop loving you.
Sleep tight beautiful boy, you will be in our hearts, thoughts and memories forever. Love Mummy and Daddy.”

I haven’t found the words of what to say until today. And still there is nothing you can say, you were everything anyone could dream of as a child. Cheeky, loving, full of joy, you will always be in the hearts of everyone who loved you. Xx Harvey xX
