I never, sadly, had the chance to meet James but what a lovely way to honour his memory. Well done Laura and family for raising so much money to help others xx

Funeral Director
James Grant sadly passed away on the 15th January 2019. He was a character - full of life and love and lived every day to the max.
Family and friends meant everything to James. His wife Laura and the girls Isobel and Amy were the centre of his world. Along with his friends....cricket...golf...fast cars....dancing...oh and good food (this list could go on)!
He may have just been 39 when he his life was cut tragically short but he had made an impact on everyone around him. Many of you visited him in the last six months and he was truly grateful for your support, company and laughter.
When you picture James in your head, always remember that - a truly gregarious man, with a perpetual smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye.
Please attend James' funeral on the 30th January at 1.30pm at St Peter's Church, Ruddington. (Formal dress code)
This will be followed by a celebration of James' life at the Nottinghamshire Golf & Country Club, Cotgrave, NG12 3HB.
Children are welcome.
Family flowers only please and if you are feeling generous please donate to one, or both, of the charities that James chose. Macmillan Cancer Support and the British Red Cross gave invaluable advice and support and would very much welcome your kindness.
