In loving memory of Peta Petcher who sadly passed away on 1st January 2019

Peta (formally known as Doris) was the youngest daughter of Peter and Daisy Smith, with 6 siblings. She grew up in Gosport where she had various jobs including Sunday school teacher and working on torpiedos. Eventually she became a HGV driver and moved to Bradford where she met Joesph Robert Petcher, whom she married in 1996. Together they had one son Peter Lee Petcher. She and 'Bobby' retired to Mablethorpe until Bob's passing in 2009, where she then moved to Louth for the remainder of her life.

Always one to help others, she also found time to raise lots of money for various different charities.

Peta was an animal lover, having had 3 cats of her own. She always carried cat and dog treats with her in order to provide any pet she came across a lovely surprise.

Known for her world famous chilli, Peta (Auntie Dot), was a massive hit with children of all ages. She had a wicked sense of humour and anyone who knew her was always brought to tears in fits of laughter at the chaos she would cause.

Peta loved her bingo and you could find her most nights at the community centre playing with her dear friends. She always loved to help out, she truly would do anything for anyone.

She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

Just hearing your name brings a smile to my face i have fond happy memories of you.
I remember at the age of 15/16 getting a day rover and hopping on the bus from other side of bradford to see you and grandad.
Then i started bringing the grandaughters over to visit you were so funny and kind. I missed those days when you moved.
R.I.P Peta xxx

Wonderful spirit and kindest of hearts, you will be missed. Fond memories of sitting in the kitchen together laughing (and crying at times). Your guidance and advice was well given and will continue to stay with me. Love always, Gem xxx
