Wee Mo, very difficult to sum up in a few short sentences. 70 years ago God decided to release a pure and beautiful soul from his embrace and let her walk this earth. He born her to Charlie and Betty Mcgurgh and they called her Maureen. Born on a Tuesday; Tuesday ‘s child is full of grace - Wee Mo’s gift from God. She truly had the biggest heart, an abundance of love which she spread to her family, friends, colleagues and even strangers; stating : “I may be the only person who talks to them today”. Her love so strong - a legacy which will live on because she touched so many hearts. Born in July , a Leo (the lion). Leo’s are known to put their heart into every relationship. The Leo sign governs the heart and that truly is Wee Mo; big heat; full of grace. Leo’s are also known to be strong, determined and brave. She exulted love and strength her whole life, succeeding in what God wanted her to do xx

Maureen was my best friend and a lovely person. Here we are photographed together with her wee mammie (my second mammie) in Sighthill possibly in 1987. Will miss her dearly and my thoughts and prayers are with Ian, Molly & all the family at this time x
