In loving memory of Ray Davis who sadly passed away on 12th January 2019. A much loved father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, husband and partner.
Aged 15 Ray joined the RAF, where he met his wife Marianne in Germany. After getting married they moved to Devon. They had three children- Diana, Neil and Anna. After finishing in the RAF they moved to Sandhurst where Ray continued as an electrical engineer.
Ray loved adventure, spending his time skiing, sailing, walking, dancing and cycling. He volunteered as a driver for the elderly, audio books for the blind, scout leader and the police point in Sandhurst.
A loving and caring man he looked after his wife Marianne until she died in 2009. He spent his last 3 years after his cancer diagnosis enjoying his life with his partner Margaret. They enjoyed many trips away for dancing and table tennis. Margaret cared for Ray until the end at home in Frimley.
He will be greatly missed by all.
Funeral will be held at Easthampstead Crematorium (RG40 3DW) on Wednesday 6th February 1pm, followed by a service at Sandhurst Methodist Church (GU47 8JR) at 2.15pm, with refreshments in the Chuch hall afterwards.

Ray will be remembered by myself and my three sons as a truly kind and gentle man, who had many talents and a great sense of adventure. It was lovely having known him for nearly 40 years.
