When I think of Patsy what immediately pops into my mind is that wonderful, loving welcoming smile...that's the first thing that struck me when I met her and..the last thing I saw when we waved goodbye after our last visit. Patsy's incredible kindness, support, love and generosity over the years means so much to me.So many memories over the last 47 years,of life's up's and down's that we shared as well as some hilarious moments.Memories of living with Patsy in Stalybridge, teaching, yoga and Barleywine, Memories of when we lived next door to each other in Llawrglyn, the plum harvest, the indoor wall completely iced over that winter, our kids playing in the fields, the 8 mile school run whatever the weather, baking cakes for the Great Oak Cafe...Memories of dancing all night long in the discos in Mojacar then ending up having breakfast on the beachfront, Pineapple Palace, custard apples and bougainvillea...Totnes and Devore velvet, Orchids and Dartington...Christmas, all of us squashed into the Dawlish house, fun summers in Dawlish...a certain shade of pink,Festivals, grandchildren and camping in the rain with frogs leaping through the tent (you had to be there, never laughed so much!) always being able to pick up where we left off even if we didn't see each other for some time...cuddles,hugs and... watching our kids grow up to be such good friends as well as cousins which is exactly what Patsy and I always hoped would happen.I love you Patsy, my dear friend and sister, thank you for being you and for being in my life for all these years xxx
