Peacefully on December 22nd at Five Rise Nursing Home Bingley. Michael aged 83 years of Eastburn and former manager at Landis Lund. Loving husband of the late June, loving father of Karen, Elizabeth and Kathleen. Loving grandad and great grandad.
Many ,many years ago, during the war years, Michael was one of a gang of Sutton lads who used to play cricket in the park. I remember him as a very useful bowler! Others names of those who played - David and Norman Baxter, David Brook, Peter Barsby, Alan Caterall, Brian and PeterWilcock, Geoffrey Happs and myself. I guess we are all coming to the end of our innings! RIP Michael.
One of the nicest men I had the pleasure of working with and occasionally over the years sharing a pint with. Rest in peace Michael. Condolences to all your family
