"Stevie" Irene Wendy Gash (6 Jul 1939 - 28 Dec 2018)

I went today, with my Mum, Norma, to pay our respects to a very special lady. Although I’ve not seen Stevie since she moved from Beelsby, my Mum was always in touch and been friends of Stevie and Kenn for over 30 years. Today was a lovely service to celebrate her life. Such a lovely, lovey lady who I will be forever grateful to for catching the Beelsby bat from the kitchen when my Mum was away! Also for the many funny things on the way to work, one in particular “the pork pies are in a hurry today” means nothing to anyone else but it does to me!! God bless you Stevie and I hope you’re surrounded by beautiful flowers that you can tend to xxx

Stevie, you were my best friend and I loved you. We shared joy and heartbreak with our families for over forty years and were always there for each other. Rest in peace my dear friend. I will miss you greatly. Love Jen
