David was born in May 1962 in Salisbury, Wiltshire to Ronald and Winifred Winfield.
Being from an RAF family Davids parents, brothers and sisters were stationed at many different RAF bases across the U.K, including in Wiltshire, Scotland, Suffolk, Norfolk and Cornwall.
When David's father was posted from Cornwall to RAF Marham, Norfolk in 1978 he stayed on to continue his job on a farm near Newquay.
In 1980 David moved to Ipswich to live with his sister Christine and started work at a farm in Waldringfield.
David loved the outdoor life which farming offered.
A few years later David moved to Leicestershire.
For the last sixteen years of his life David lived with Ray and Jo at Hoffield Farm in Longham, Norfolk.
For work he would clean windows, cut grass and other 'handyman' jobs, again an outdoor life.
He also enjoyed tinkering with cars, motorbikes, anything mechanical.
David was an avid collector of DVD's totalling several hundred ranging from family films to horror.
This is the place where David spent some of the happiest years of his life, according to what David had told Ray and Jo.
These are thoughts from Carol, Chris, Elaine and Peter.
David never took life seriously and enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He had a wicked sense of humour and loved to tell a joke which were many, some of them would be 'X' rated but would have us all laughing.
Gone but not forgotten. xx
