Michael Page (7 Apr 1943 - 10 Dec 2018)

In loving memory of Michael Page who sadly passed away on 10th December 2018, aged 75.

Michael had a rich and varied life, which included emigrating to the US with the family in his mid-teens before returning to the UK a few years later. He fell in love with Golf and it played a major part of the next 60 years of his life; playing up to 4 times a week after he retired. It was a passion and hobby that took him around the UK to win multiple medals and championships, with the occasional celebrity round of golf thrown in (the BeeGees!). Anyone playing golf with Michael would usually be a few £'s lighter after the round!

Majority of his working life was spent with Arup (Ove Arup's) as a Civil Engineer, leading on structural and reinforcement designs for some of the UK's most amazing bridging and building projects. He was very proud to work for Arup's and was seen as the 'go to guy' for the definitive word on something.

Michael left us too soon but his memory will live on in our hearts and through the family.
