In loving memory of Patricia Horrocks who passed away peacefully on 16th November 2018, aged 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Gordon. Pat will be sadly missed by all who knew her, but especially by Stephen and Sylvia.

It was with great sadness, I learned that Pat, had passed away.
We have been friends, since about 1963, when we worked together at D.R.I.
I moved away from Derby in 1971, but I did return, on the occasion of her retirement. I can still see the look of surprise on her face, when she saw me.
Since that time, we have continued our friendship, by mail, and latterly by phone.
I cherish the friendship we have had, as she was a truly amazing and very strong caring lady.
She went, peacefully, for which she will be eternally grateful for, as she once told me, she ' wasn't ready for sitting in a room with a load of other people staring at each other'!!!
She wasn't going to let that happen.
RIP my Beautiful Friend, and I thank you, for the years of wonderful friendship, we shared.
