Always fun, never dull and loved. I have lost a dear friend.

In loving memory of Mary Cecilia Cartlidge (always known as "Ce") who sadly passed away on 16th December 2018 having fought against idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis for over 5 years.
The first child of the late Lord George Wigg and Florence Minette (Minnie) Veal, sister to Maureen (deceased) and Audrey and half sister to Doris (deceased). She met her late husband Robert George Cartlidge at Trentham Gardens, Staffordshire and married on the 13th March 1958. She is survived by her 3 daughters Fiona, Melanie and Rachel (with whom she lived for the last 5 years of her life). She had 6 grandchildren and three great grandchildren of whom she was very proud.
Most of her life after marriage was spent in Scotland, latterly in Huntly. She worked as a volunteer in the Red Cross shop in Huntly for over 15 years where she was fondly known as Lady Ce for always being immaculately turned out. She believed in lipstick and gloves. She was remembered by her many friends in Huntly as a kind and generous friend, always keen to have a laugh.
She loved fast cars, fast noisy jets and Lancaster bombers, having been a child of the wars years. She lost her dear husband Bob in 2012 and her wish is for her ashes to be scattered where his were in Scotland. She kept her sense of humour up until the day before she died, passing peacefully in the morning with Rachel and son-in-law David holding her hands, her nails still immaculate and painted red.
Her funeral wishes include a request for flowers only from family and would encourage donations to he favourite charity, the RNLI, either through "just giving" or by collection at her funeral.
