Deepest condolences to you Vivian and the children. I had the honor of working for John at Reuters from 1989 through 1993 and I can honestly say he was one of the people that had the biggest impact on my career. We remained in touch over the years and one of my fairly recent encounters with his was to bring him and Ben down to the floor of the NY Stock Exchange for a tour. He taught me so much about the information business and gave me an appreciation for French wine - my favorite Bordeaux is Chateau Talbot - my first bottle was with him over dinner at Windows on the World in the Twin Towers. I’m certain he is in a better place free from pain and suffering and while he may be gone - he will live on in our memories forever. Peace to you and your family. Regards - Ludwig
