In loving memory of Ravinder Singh who sadly passed away on 7th December 2018

A loving son, brother, uncle and friend, Vindy was incredibly special to all who knew him. He was born and grew up in Kettering in a loving home where he was one of 5 siblings. The family were all about being all inclusive so it didn't matter if you were extended family or a friend....you were one of the 'Singh' clan.
He and his siblings studied at Avondale from where Vindy went on to complete his studies at Henry Gotch Secondary. It was from here he chose to begin his working life which over the years varied from the Corby Steel Works, Alumasc, Weetabix......he was a stoic, hard worker with a solid work ethic. During his working life the friends he met along the way became his 'brotherhood'.....he simply touched the hearts of all he met.
His passions included time with his family and friends, his lifelong support for Leeds United, his all time icon John Wayne, Films and Music.
It would be remiss to not also cover the social aspect of Vindy's life......for everyone knows he truly was a social person. This really began with the North Park where he played football for Percy Coleman. From the North Park it was on to the Buccleuch where his love for playing football under Glenn Pack's leadership continued as a Buccleugh Warrior. The commaraderie that formed over these years became a Fellowship/ a Brotherhood! The Windmill Club came next where the infamous Sunday 'all dayer's' were the highlight of the week!

The words Love, Integrity, Commitment, Honesty, Generosity and Loyalty were synonymous with Vindy. A more honourable man it would be difficult to find.

Be the first to leave a condolence for the loss of Ravinder
