In loving memory of Lesley Anne Pitts who sadly passed away on 30th November 2018.
Lesley was the first born in 1954 to Patrica and Roy English, Keith, Nikki and Tammy followed. Lesley traveled due to her fathers RAF role and living in Singapore was an experience she often spoke of. Back in the UK in the 70's, Lesley met Ken while attending a wedding with a friend.. love blossomed and they married soon after.
Lesley loved family more than anything else and soon got to work building her own. Barry came first in 75, then Philip in 77 and Victoria in 79. Together the Pitts family worked hard to realise our dreams and did so for many happy years as the family expanded to include her much loved grandchildren, Layla, Elizabeth, Harvey, Chloe, Thomas.
Cruelly and unexpectedly, sadness would strike in 2012 and after a long battle with Asbestos induced cancer, Ken passed away in 2015. Lesley was, as anyone who met her will attest, a rock to Ken. She was a rock to the kids, to her friends, to her sisters and so many others.
Lesley would work through the grief and start afresh, never one to let loss get in the way of life, nor to sit indoors on her own. Lesley met Alan, instantly feeling like they knew each other for many years.. but sadly and quite quickly, just as their new relationship was taking off, Lesley was subject to a series of health challenges culminating in a breast cancer diagnosis.
Lesley was determined to fight it and Alan too, he committed himself to supporting her through all that was to come, a selfless act of love and loyalty the family will always be grateful for.
We will never forget Lesley, her passion, her joy, her boundless love.
Love you mum
