So sad to hear that Simon, who we knew as Tommy has passed away. I've nothing but happy, funny memories of Tommy from Oxpoly days and beyond. He was the life and soul of any gathering, usually the centre of attention and always making people laugh with his antics. He was also a really big hearted guy who will be sorely missed. Love to RG and family.

having been at Oxford polytechnic with Simon I have some great memories of Simon but the overriding one was his infectious smile and laugh and the feeling he was always genuinely pleased to see you .

Richard Broome donated £31.95 in memory of Simon

I was at Oxford Poly with ‘Tommy’ and although I wasn’t within his closesr friend group he always put a smile on my face and seemed to light up every room he entered. A genuinely lovely person. The world will be a duller place without him.

I was at Oxford Poly with ‘Tommy’. Whilst I wasn’t one of his closest mates I do have such fond memories of him. You always giggled and laughed in his company, and always Lit up the room he was in. We were going to share a tent together in Scotty’s garden to save rent when he worked night shifts. I’d sleep there at night and Tommy in the day. Luckily it never happened as tidiness wasn’t one of his greatest qualities! He’ll be hugely missed but will be ever talked about fondly by his friends.

I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of Simon - or Tommy as we at Oxford Poly all knew him. He was such a great guy who brought a lot of laughter and fun into our lives but also was a truly clever, generous and warm human being. It was a privilege to have known him and count him as a friend. My sincere condolences to RG and all the family. With love.
