Dear Helena and family, I knew Michael for many years through the Catenian family. Michael was not a frequent attender of the monthly meeting but for around 20 years he was one of the 1st brothers to contact me regarding the annual Clergy Night. His death was more poignant for me because he died a few days before this years event on Monday 3rd December 2018. Michael was a true gentleman, always kind and courteous and Michael and his family are in my prayers

Happy Birthday "Mikey" x I will never forget you on this day, just keep an eye on my mum for me, she loved you to bits xx Keep laughing like you used to xx I can still hear your cheeky laugh now, it makes me smile but a tear falls for you. Thanks Mikey for all your help and patience over 20 years xx you are so sadly missed xx God Bless Sweet Dreams xx

Even though I have just returned home miles away, after saying goodbye to you...it doesn’t seem true. You were such an amazing Dad that you leave such a hole in my heart that will never be filled but for everything you were I thank you! I have so many amazing memories to cherish and will hold on to them tightly.

I was so sorry to hear of Michael’s passing. He was such a lovely man, welcoming and fun, and will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him.

It was an absolute pleasure to have known Mike through Beeston Round Table and Beeston 41 Club and to have enjoyed his great sense of fun and camaraderie. He will be sadly missed by all.

A man possessing a calm gentle demeanour combined with an inner strength, Michael’s passing has left the world a poorer place but those who knew him can count themselves to be very fortunate indeed. Rest in peace my friend.
