In loving memory of Daniel Paul Hoad who left our world on 11th November 2018, aged 37 years.

I love him dearly and would like his funeral to be a celebration of his life. This will take place on Friday 7th December 2018 at The Garden of England Crematorium in Bobbing at 3pm followed by sharing laughter and stories at The Appleyard in Sittingbourne.

In the spirit of it being a celebration, I would like for your attire to include something bright and colourful. As you know, Daniel would not want us in dark and dreary colours!

Daniel lived his life to the fullest in every way possible, both working incredibly hard but also enjoying himself at every opportunity he could. If you would like to upload any pictures, stories or memories of Daniel to this site, I know I would very much like to see and read them as well as share them with you in person on Friday 7th.

No flowers please but donations for The Salvation Army or Football Beyond Borders may be made on-line via this site.

Thank you for taking the time to read this message and I look forward to seeing you on the 7th.

Lots of love,

Lauren xxx

Dearest Dan, a dear friend and a cherished uncle. We will never be ready to say goodbye so you will live on in our hearts, our memories and the stories we all have to share. We will never forget your smile or your laugh or just you being Dan, especially when you were uncle Dan and trying to make Isabella and Lucas laugh no matter what and even if you looked like a goon!
All our love, forever and always. No one could ask for a better best friend. XXX

On behalf of all at Chalkwell I would would like to say how saddened we are at Dan's passing. Not only was Dan highly respected in his work, he was also a genuine great person and lit up our office whenever he came in. Dan has made a great contribution to Chalkwell over the years and we will miss him tremendously.

Our fun loving Danny Boy. The world is a less fun place without you. You would always light up a room, rule the dance from your Bollywood dancing at NY to ‘slut dropping’ at your wedding.
You really did have a charismatic charm and was a true gent.
Until we meet again Dan The Man...

Love the China’s xxxx

Dan, one of the first people that springs to mind when I think of Crossley. A huge part of our work family - I will never forget all the laughs and good times and the 8 years of knowing you will never be enough. I’ll miss our little chats about what our next adventures would be - you were forever one to encourage a mad weekend to somewhere far flung in order to enjoy, live and love life to its fullest. Miss you Dan. Thank you for being you. X

We are all shocked and saddened by the news. In addition to his expert technical advice he was so sincere caring and open as well as fun. A very rare combination that will be deeply missed.
