In loving memory of Doreen Lesley Williams who sadly passed away on the 16th of November 2018.

Doreen was mother to Chris and Sarah and grandmother to Witse and Lonneke. Doreen is also mum to 4 fury children, Cosmo, Ollie, Tia and Milly and is well known for her love of cats. Doreen was separated from husband Tony, although they remained friends.

The family has chosen to ask for flowers from family members only. If you are not a family member but would still like to contribute something, please make a donation to the Cats Protection society in loving memory of Doreen and her love for cats.

Doreen would very often wear colourful clothes and so the family would like for everybody wear something green for the funeral to celebrate Doreen's favourite colour.

The family would like the funeral to be a celebration of Doreen's life and so they invite you to join them at the Tee House at Hucknall Golf course after the funeral, where there will be refreshments and the chance to raise a glass (or a cup of tea) to Doreen.

Please click the attend button if you are going to come to the funeral and wake. If you have stories or photos of Doreen please share them here.

Doreen,
We have known each other for the last forty two years, and for all of that time you knew that you were my one and only true love. You were my friend,my lover,my confidant, and nurse and mother to our two children and me.No one else could have loved you more than I and it was a privilege knowing that in spite of my faults and weaknesses you still chose me to share your life with.
It broke my heart not to finish our journey together but it was comforting knowing we were still friends.
You are still my very beautiful wife and I shall love you for all eternity, and If I had the chance I would not hesitate to do it all over again with you at my side.
Your Loving Husband Tony XXX
